The only reason I haven’t done this so far is because I like consistency, and don’t want 3+ sorting conventions going on.Ģ – With games that have been around for decades, do you guys sort / should I sort the games by what console / series generation they were on?, although this only applies to first party games, since there are a fuckton of first party series with a metric fuckton of games. Maybe a combination of both? Like have first party games / series in its own folder, than have series like Doom or indieshit that has no clear developer / publisher in another folder. Sorting by publisher could work for first party games such as Nintendo or Microsoft games, since their publisher really hasn’t changed much over the years but what about smaller indieshit games like Cuphead and Terraria, or games that are a part of a larger, 15+ year series, ie, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc, where the developer and publisher has changed hands over the years? I've thought about sorting by publisher or developer, but that’s hard to do since most games now have more than 1 publisher or developer. There are 2 problems I have and the first problem leads in the second.ġ– After about 100 games or so in the main "VGM" folder, it gets hard to look at and find specifically what I want. For example, there is a Halo folder, which contains a folder of every Halo game released and the soundtrack / OST in the corresponding folder. How do you guys sort your video game music? I've just got my music in a folder in my Music folder called "Video Game Music" and it's only sorted by game series, then further sorted by specific game. Now I will take individual Sonic album requests since my collection is too big to upload. Post magnet links of soundtracks below, if you please. Well, it seems that we seem to lack a thread for video game soundtracks, and a great deal of threads of nothing but porn.
